Return with a Vengence

Back to the humid o' sunny isle, and to being a tax-paying and CPF-contributing lawful citizen.

My second first day at work reminded me of my first days of school. Preparing with a dilemmatic anticipation of the unknown... buying new shoes (except it ain't white this time); the excitement of waking up and travelling by the usually less travelled road; making new friends...

It feels like i'm a fish which has chosen to give up swimming (or drowning at some point in time) in a comfortably big aquarium with nice corals, green seaweed and, most importantly, other friendly fishies, to live in the ocean that is murky, dark and quiet. No more certainty of bright lights at the right time, of safety from KILLER SHARKS... I've exchanged security and comfort for a vastness of possibilities... or have i gotten myself into the dead sea? Swimming against the current should bring me to the greener, or rather the more blue, pasture...Up to me to create stomachable challenges at and after work, i suppose.
