Day 2!

Using free internet in a shopping mall now... They have a free internet kiosk on almost every floor! Great service.

Been walking up and down the streets near our hotel for the past two days.. heels are gonna crack soon... - BUT, no complaints! :) Weather's nice and cool, like Genting. Thank God it has been sunny and not raining too. So we can walk about in dry shoes. Hehz.

People here are generally ok..but they seem to be very busy... Most are friendly, though not all know how to speak mandarin. Ordering and asking for directions can be a quite difficult at times. Like this morning, we had a very bad experience with some old ah-beng waiters at a small food shop... like those where gangsters in HK movies meet to fight. No wonder they often choose to meet there... the atmosphere faciliates the mood and action!! :P

Didn't really buy a lot of stuff too. bought a really cool bag though! Hee.. sth like a duffle-bag but smaller and multifunctional (can be carried in at least 3 ways).

Also haven't been to much scenic place.. took a ferry over to Central today. Gonna do the same later. Sun sets early here now, about 5+pm. A fren and I are going to visit a church tomorrow morning - St Andrew's Church (centenary??)! Near our hotel. Think there's an english service. Then hopefully we'll get to have a proper 'yum cha' session, visit the Victoria Peak, do some trekking maybe, visit the space/cultural gallery or wateva, do some more shopping and eating...

Awrite, gotta go. I saw a Ben and Jerry's somewhere.. hehe. =)
