The latest cd added to my small collection of cds is this! Nice cover, i thought. Nah~! Haha, bossa nova music... not very into it, but a nice change. One of my dreams is to own a CD shop... which allows me to play any type of music whenever i like and however i like (ie skipping the track as and when i want). I'll probably have a pot of coffee brewing... or rather an expresso machine and a small counter... or a small section set aside for a mini cafe. Then maybe a bookshelf with some books... but of cos, a larger collection of CDs.. Techno would be banned most probably. People will come and buy my CDs and call me only when they need my assistance... or when they wanna make a payment. =)

Sometimes when watching films, i can be quite sensitive to one-shot scenes. Amazed by this filming tactic when my lecturer talked about it in the one and only film module i have ever taken, i tend to follow such scenes closely and notice how long one lasted, when there is possibly a cut and the purpose served. So i was thinking today that life is like a one-shot movie. Each of us stars in our own movie, and there's only one roll of film (or enough to last our lifetime). When recording, there's no chance to pause or re-do NG scenes. What i do is done and recorded in time. If i know i'm filmed, i would give my best shot in that only shot. Imagine a 'live' TV programme. Having this perspective reminds me to treat my days with care and gravity. Of course, there are days when i'm 'filming' for documentaries, but there are also times when it's just entertainment. But i guess what i'm trying to say is, that no action can be undone, be it good or bad, right or wrong; and that it is now or never, do or die? And at the end when the credits roll, will my movie be one that wins applause as well as the much coveted Oscar trophy...
