"I'd like to teach the world to sing..."

I'm considering whether or not to take up this keyboard class. I have until 22 March to decide, and hopefully get to be in the same class (1:7 - teacher:students) as my friend. Apparently, her colleague is teaching...

It has been a childhood dream to know how to play the piano (ok, so i learnt recently that keyboard and piano are different). However it remained a dream mainly because it wasn't a priority to spend money on it then. Now that i have the means and the opportunity, what could be holding me back?

hMm, for one, i'm not sure if i'll really learn how to play 20 songs after 12 lessons as promised... two, what if i give up after realising that i'm better off typing a keyboard than playing it? three, dreaming that i could play a smooth-sounding tune on the piano (okok, keyboard) is always better than knowing the truth that i'm only good at playing with one finger.... and four, i need a keyboard to practise on... Hehe, anyone kind enough to lend me without worrying about me spoiling it? :) i'll play you my 1st tune....?

But having said that, i still very much feel like going for the class. One, gota 'wake up to make your dream come true'. Two, how wonderful oh would it be, if i could play a song, a song to praise my God... Three, something fun and purposeful to spend my time on and to look forward to besides Holland V after work. Ha!!
