Quite a busy week... more stuff to come. Oh, and this monday was the date of my confirmation. Although i've signed the contract about 3 months ago, we had to go through another (at least) 3 mths of probation. During which, we can't take annual leave or receive other benefits (not sure what... haha). My friends and I were still grumbling then about not being able to take leave after being staff for so long (even longer for them as they had a slightly longer contract than me). How time flies... now we're allowed to take leave but i don't see when i can take any. AhHhHHhHHh~~~~~ i want a
b-r-e-a-k!

I've finally signed up for the keyboard class yesterday (so grateful to zhiqing for offering me her keyboard to practise on at home)! I'm looking forward to it... Can't wait for it to start! Already marked it out in my calendar at work! Anyway, please pray that i won't get TOO pissed off at my Snr. This week had really been a test on my patience and how far i can control the voices in my head to prevent them from leaking through my words and deeds.

(uRghz, the rest of my post was eaten up by the net. so i'm not gonna repeat the story that i went to eat at the Original Sin which is opp HV with my colleagues tonight and that though ex, their food is pretty good; nor tell you that they have this tofu-cheese-potato-etc deep-fried patty that tasted more heavenly than a $15 cheese-etc-stuffed mushroom which tasted quite decent as well.)

But i shall attempt to ask you an IQ question that i heard today:

There are two prisons (doesn't matter what/where), each on an island. The islands are connected by a bridge (doesn't matter what kind), and it takes 30 minutes to travel from one to the other (doesn't matter if you run or walk). Every day, the guards on each side of the island change shift at the same time, taking 15 minutes to do so. While at it, the surveillance on the inside/outside is temporarily suspended. Thus, when planning an escape, it has to fall within this 15-minute slot.

So, one day a prisoner decides to escape to the other prison, and he actually managed to do so successfully (doesn't matter why he would wanna do that. Maybe he wants to wake up to the morning sun on the other side.) Given the circumstances, HOW DID HE DO IT?

He didn't have any accomplice; he walked on the bridge; and it's not really a trick question. :)
