My vote for the best xmas decor 2003 goes to .... Park Mall! Well, actually the trees in front of it. Small disco balls and some rolled-up metal sheets with light bulbs inside and cut-out shapes/stars on them cast nice dancing lights on the ground. Not only looks good when you look up, but just as prettee when you look down. Something different from the rest of the decor which just try to make you lift up your eyes... But since our heads are not meant to be tilted unnaturally for a long time, attention shifts after a while. I don't know, but i was really quite awed by the shifting small spots of light on the ground while waiting for my bus...almost missed ze bus actually. :) It would be better if the streetlights near the trees are off. *ahh...*


Weird

Ever saw a playground that's fenced? Totally weird. One just in my housing estate. I mean, the playground's raised, and is not big at all. Just the usual, normal kind... but it is FENCED! Those green plastic kind of criss-crossed fence you see in school fields, complete with a gate. Maybe something went wrong with the generation before us... that caused them to have such bizarre ideas and overly paranoid mentality. I wonder how policy implementation in all other areas of our lives will continue to change in the near future when my warped peers take over the baton of leadership. What a joke. Maybe kids (who haven't been brainwashed by schools yet) now think adults are crazy.
