Mundane Moans: Yey....

It's friday again! Couldn't fully comprehend the joy friday brings to drones until i am one of them. Keke. Alas, once again i've brought homework back to visit my bed. Wonder how much i'll complete this weekend... o_O Messy stuff.

Work's still pretty enjoyable and interesting. Hmm.. i'm currently doing:

+ 1 geog guidebook/summary bk... (besides trying to clear up the mess handed over to me, i have a supposedly quite fun job of coming up with a new cover design for the book! ha, books ARE judged by their covers manz. Am really looking forward to finding THE perfect photos/design for the book together with the help of a snr designer... but no time to source for photos...and i think the more i want sth to be perfect, the less likely it will turn out to be perfect... somehow the outcome tends to disappoint the greater the expectations placed on it...? hMmm.. Many times i wished i was one of those designers, playing around with colours and stuff. Dictionary isn't exactly my best friend. i think. (: )

+ 1 resource book for teachers (haha oni 500 copies - but scary enough when people tell you that whatever mistake you make in a book will be magnified by '00 / '000 times. *gulp* hopefully i wun EVER have the chance to sit in the warehouse and paste stickers over every book. haha.)

+ 2 students' handbook for schools (like diaries -- crazy schedule. haha but the fun thing of doing this is it's a very short project -- from 2-4weeks -- and i get to read the stupidest stuff schools put inside. i mean, that's one of the reasons why i am not interested in teaching... that i have to enforce some senseless behaviour on the kids and being blatantly blind to it all? Sometimes i feel it's worse than corporate bureaucracy.)

+ 1 english p5 assessment bk (the freelance editor is increasing my BP. i don't like this book. messy messy messy!! -_- )

+ 1 upcoming map book (when my colleague -- and to me, my 'geog teacher' there 'cos his geog, especially physical geog, is very gd -- leaves next month. I'm quite upset by his resignation actually.. which means in the geog team there'll only be me and my snr ed. :O)

er. that's all. and the best thing is i can listen to the music while at work! yey. helps to keep me from stoning too much.

Supposed to have a meeting with the HR boss next monday. Sheesh. Just give me the document to sign why must i meet the whoever boss!? Lemme think of what to ask him/her...
