The Inter.view
It was... ok i guess. I wouldn't consider myself as fabulously eloquent but i did my best to sound interested and sincere... And i think i sort of left an impression, so i'll just leave the rest to God now. Haha, but one funny thing was, i almost gave her my blog @!! She was asking me to give e.g when i thought of creative ideas, etc... and my mind was quite blank (again). The only thing i could think of was this. So i told her that i have a webpage and i post up my thoughts and some pictures i try to draw on computer. Then she wanted to see!! In the end i decided No Way!, and told her it's a personal site. She thought that websites are meant for public viewing, but i told her mine wasn't. Haha. Would have ruin whatever chances i might have if she checks out my blog, methinks.
Volunteer
Come on down to Bugis Junction later on to support the booth that Nana and i will be selling stuff at! It's all for charity... to help raise funds for OHF and its projects. We'll be taking the AM and PM shifts, from 10.30 to 6.30pm so please go support and push up our 'sales'!! :) There'll be things like handmade soaps (by nepalese women), woven bags, accessories, pouches, etc. Very affordable stuff too! Stock up on christmas gifts today!
State of Be-ing
What is the 'natural' state that a human is in, when there isn't any arousal of any emotions? Meaning, in the (momentary) absence of events, etc to trigger any emotions in a person, what should or would that person be feeling? Happy? Sorrowful? Nothing?? Imagine waking up on a morning, and what do you first feel? Hmm. Or even through the day, when i'm just walking along e road... Anyway, i thought the natural state of emotion would be unhappiness... afterall, we were born crying and i doubt many died laughing right. Not trying to be morbid or pessimistic here but just really looking at it from this weird perspective... Oh well, doesn't really make sense... Thoughts usually dictate how we feel... and probably vice versa. Meaning there could be a 'neutral' state... where there's absence of any feelings whatsoever? Incoherent, pardon.
