German FilmFest!

Starts this Friday, limited screenings, $10 each.

My takes:

• Crossing the Bridge: The Sound of Istanbul - street and music scenes of the city of Istanbul


• Netto - father-and-adolescent-son comedy


• The Edukators - artistic, idealistic stuff about life that might leave you wondering what the heck you're doing with yours...?


• Blind Spot: Hitler's Secretary - don't think I'll watch this but it could be quite interesting


• The Champions - director followed 4 soccer players in a famous football club over 3 years and documented the things that go behind the multi-million dollar industry... not sure if this will be good but it'd better be pretty much since they took 5 years to film it! Looks good though... uh, the photo in the brochure at least. Keke.
