My first visit to a kelong!

A week of work was rewarded with an overnight stay at a kelong in M'sia. For almost all of us who went (about 23?), it was the first experience of its kind. For $75, we got a wave-splashing ride to the kelong, and a wind-blowing ride back to the mainland this morning; steamboat dinner; BBQ supper (the satay was gggrrrrrreat~ partly 'cos it was consumed under the stars on a deck chair, and not cooked by me); porridge breakfast with yummy deep-fried fishie; a straight-to-the-sea toilet system; a KTV system; and fishing lines. And the bonus returns were the view of lush trees and hills surrounding the kelong, gently rippling waters, quiet sunset and sunrise (accompanied with the most chic, thin crescent and a bright planet - venus?), stars (and some shooting stars which i missed); the company of good friends; and the chance to capture some memories in my lomo (more importantly, to finally finish up the roll of film leftover from my bday)!
