It's gonna be a stressful weekend, methinks. On monday, I've to do a minor product briefing for the new guidebook which i've edited (thank God it's to 2 marketing execs only. i hope! yuck. people there are good critics.... cos they criticize each other's criticism too. uRgh i hate dem all!). I'm not so confident of the book actually (like with all other things i suppose). Basically i kinda put in my possible best as a newbie (but in retrospect, things could always be better -- or so it seems?), especially it being a tattered and torn hand-me-down project. Looking through the book now, it seems like it could be improved further (hmm, but then again, the limit on the number of pages is a good excuse not to add more stuff~). The danger of burying oneself in the technical aspect of the work is that one will overlook the Big Picture and miss out some stuff. It's like wiping your car's windscreen and polishing the mirrors but not noticing that the tyres are flat and that the battery's zilch (ha! like i know what i'm talking about). Not so sure if it can withstand the firing squad when it sees light soon. =| Worse still, books are being requisited for review by two new authors of our textbook, PLUS i'm told to promote the book to teachers. AW manz.

And i've still got Problematic Book (PB) on my blood-stained hands. Brought stuff home to do again but ... ha, hopefully they won't just sit on my conscience and start a guilt strike.
