Happy as a Puppy

Haven't had such a relaxed day in a long time. Met up with some old friends, reminiscenced about our JC days, just walked around without any agenda nor having to rush home, was a beautiful breezy day, had a good time at service, gorgeous-looking moon, spent some time thinking and just enjoying my own company. Fabulous. :)

When was the last time you've had a Happy Meal? I just had mine (cheeseburger meal)! Haven't had one in many years. Used to go to the library, and then looking forward to a Happy Meal at the nearby Mc's. I would bring the box home and attempt the puzzles and riddles printed on the box with my brother. Sadly, they don't have that anymore... only some dotted lines and perforation to tear out dunno what picture on the box... Boring. Hehz.

Wonder why the small coke could satisfy (was it that size during our era?), and the lack of choice didn't bother us (didn't have fish or chicken burger right... like now, happy meal only has a few choices of burger/nuggets). But when we grew up, we want to upsize the meal and want a variety of food to choose from. Just like in all other aspects of life. Upsize the cash, the ambition, the wants. The bigger, the better~ Not that there's anything wrong, but some times, the Happy Meal still suffices pretty well. :) When will i learn to be truly contented in things i ought to be contented in? ... That, is the question.
