Resolute

Instead of a yearly resolution, monthly ones would be more practical. Yearly resolutions are dangerous. They give the illusion that you have 366 days (it's a leap yr this yr! How exciting~) to fulfil your dreams and goals. Without concrete plans and a more definite time-frame, people will just forget about resolut-ing the following year and the worse thing is that one year would just have been wasted.

Now how nice and rational that sounded. So, to practise what i preach, i shall resolute to attempt to resolute monthly and set targets to achieve.

I think i'm one of those people (are you one of them?) who can't face the crushing reality of ageing. I'll be turning 23 this year. OH MY GOSH. Just typing that out horrified me. What have i done in the nearly-two-dozens years of my life? Add another 7 years and ......... i'll have fewer friends.

On a happier note, i finally GOT MY REMOTE CTRL CAR!!! My heart's desire... haha. Brothers always had the privilege of owning one while i have the miserable anorexic barbie. OK not that i hated dolls... i have my (forced) feminine side too... but come on, cars are quite fun.. especially cars that move under your thumbs~ :)

The red one's mine and the blue one is my friend's. Yes, there is more than one grown-up kid around the block.
