My Day

Yey. Got through monday. Woke up late and caught a cab to work. My 1st resolution: Not to be (too) late for work! :P

Hmm.. did the necessary. Glad to say that one more project's done! Finally! Was torturous till its very end. Ta-ta forEVER! Woohoo! Er.. until I get prank calls from teachers to tell me any errors that they've spotted.

Oh, learnt something new (to me) today as i flipped through almost a dozen books to find out the definite definition of 'escarpment'/'scarp' and if they are synonymous -- the meaning of Equinox! It refers to the day (there are two, approximately on or near 20th March: Vernal/Spring equinox, and 22nd Sept: Autumn equinox <-- i like this) each year when the hours during the day equal that of night, all around the world (usually differs due to seasonal changes and etc). Then intermittently comes the Summer and Winter Solstices. =b maybe google will provide a clearer definition.

After work, i asked my colleague if she wants to have dao-huey at geylang and she spontaneously agreed! A good way to end the day with dao-huey, soya bean milk, half the doughstick, and their taiwan vermicelli (not bad, but don't expect anything more than the vermicelli, this blob of undissolved gluten, and a couple of pig innards. urm.). She's nice. I've a feeling i may cry 'to' her one day... Ha. Dunno why. Probably one of those people whom you can be frank with and know that they are wise enough to offer you some kind of advice or sth. *shrugz*

And i finally bought a new mousepad for office use today...This punk pink pig plastic pad from HappyHouse (the super bubble-gummy bright shop in Citylink..) wasn't planned, but i guess i'm glad i got it... 'cos i refuse to use the stinky old mousepad (although the cartoon on it looks kinda cute..) left behind by dunno which ed since dunno when.
