If you're happy and you know it ...

The basic desire and the greatest achievement... is to be happy? Could this simple need be what drives people to live - dangerously or simply - day after day? Come to think of it, everyone wants to be happy right (duh?). That can't sound more obvious enough. But sometimes the pursuit of it may cloud the eventual goal that one started out to reach. That in the course of accomplishing what we think would lead us to that state of happiness, the wrong things may be done instead.

If i remember that when people do some things which i can't understand, it might be easier to forgive and maybe empathize with them. For it brings us back to the untainted origin of that simple desire which, although won't justify whatever wrong actions committed, would probably help to see past the anger and hurt to want to offer help...

Or maybe they are plain evil and this is just another half-baked thought. ha.
