Dum dee dee do
A restful, restless Saturday.
Some things to share:
- Joshua Harris's new book and blog! (Hee, thanx to May-ann)
- Don't Eat Sharks Fin - No nutritional value. Don't like the idea that sharks are thrown back to the ocean after being amputated, and left to die like that. And they are a population which takes a long time to grow and multiply in small numbers. Don't tell me what about chickens and cows. Even though i don't approve of killing sharks in that manner and for that meaningless and ridiculous (paying so much for sth as valuable as our fingernails!) purpose, i find myself accepting the dilemmatic-bowl placed before me everytime. I've got such a weak will! Time to talk louder with my actions. Don't offer me sharks' fin!! I'm not gonna serve sharks' fin at my wedding if i ever have one. Will present a speech to explain to my guests if i have to.
- Habitat for Humanity project - Very interested. But closing date's 17 Feb. And being absent from work for 10 days in june - the middle of the gruelling textbook submission period - is unthinkable to my boss, methinks. 'Buts' suck.
- Nicholas Nickleby - Looks nice...
- "What's your greatest achievement or what are your accomplishments up till this point in your life?"
- Eva Cassidy - What a Wonderful World
Utada Hikaru - Close to You
Natalie Merchant - One Fine Day
