Work has been ok this week... Just proofreading texts and workbooks. But frankly, i'm doubting my proficiency in English the more i read their texts! Some phrases, etc seem dubious to me but when I check with the editor of that book, she said it's fine. Reading about the tenses makes me even more tensed... Haha, abit embarrassing especially when they are rushing to get it done so as to send it for printing. Oh well, i shall stand by the idiom:
"(s)He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but (s)he who does not ask remains a fool forever."
Colleagues are generally quite friendly... but i'm learning to protect myself in this chewy world - or what they call, a dog-eat-dog world. Ha... not that i have much for them to eat... Besides, it's always hard to tell from the appearance. Anyway i think it'll take me a while to break into their cliques. Young, smart, eloquent. Most lah. Some are really funny though. :)
