Matrix Reloaded

Went to watch it yday and i wana watch it again!!!! Well, not really because it's spectacular, but 'cos i don't quite understand the ending (and i won't drink any iced tea during the show this time round)! Actually i think i liked the 1st episode better, but then again, that is probably how the story evolved so maybe they can't be compared anyway. But i thought this 2nd episode slightly hilarious at some points. Such as their wildly exaggerated lines and their speaking in parables. Two scenes i disliked: the orgy-like celebration dirt(y) -they actually used crushed lava- dance scene (er... HUH?); and the many Agent Smiths vs. one Neo scene (too many, too fast, too unnatural - obvious that Neo became a digitally mastered figure after the 10th Smith came out or sth). Obvious underlying racial assumptions such as the chinese bodyguard of the Oracle well-versed in kungfu (just like Bruce Lee), the asian (even mythical) "handy" Keymaker, and none of the rebels in Zion or Morpheus' gang's an Asian .. seems like intermarriage is still rare too eh (with black-black and white-white couples). And of course, it's even more heavily soaked in philosophies than the 1st episode.
haha, having said all that, go watch! But i would recommend that you watch The Matrix on Channel 5 this sunday first to recap your memory of the storyline b4 attempting Matrix Reloaded. :)

Job Hunting

Hunting. More like i'm putting myself out there like a prey to be hunted by companies instead.
Having a degree seemED to be a ticket that allows one to go further in a trip, like paying more for a train ticket to go to a further and supposedly better destination. However, it seems like now, the train's out of fuel and is not bringing passengers with that amount of paid ticket any further than they wanna. So there, i'm stuck with a ticket and nowhere to go. Ticketing office: "Sorry no refund." "Dun be quitters! -wait and wait and wait...-" "Accept taking smaller trains!" ...

oh bother.
